Cascade Animal Clinic

Cascade is the BEST! We have been using them for years and have always had outstanding care for our pets- the compassion and empathy given by the staff when we have had to say goodbye to our family members to the love and play time they give our new girl, Vegas, will keep us coming back for many more years to come. I trust them with my pets and know that they have the best interest of my dog in mind when making suggestions and recommendations.

Amazing staff. I will never take my babies anywhere else unless it's an absolute must. I love that they call and check on the animals a couple days after visits. I always feel that my concerns are listened to. I had a 120lb dog that was terrified of the vet and had to be muzzled but after a while of working with him he was perfectly behaved and even gave kisses. I can't say enough about the vets and all the staff.

Our 10 yr old cat was acting very ill but our regular vet was closed and recommended Cascade. They were so accommodating and caring, we never felt like an imposition at all. Every single staff member was gentle, respectful and compassionate, both to PJ and to our whole family. After making the agonizing but correct choice to say goodbye to our sweet boy and let him be out of pain, I was so impressed and appreciative at every step of the euthanization, bereavement and cremation process. They provide a special dedicated room for this process and accommodate the grieving family with an external entrance so that grieving family does not have to walk through the public lobby for this. When we arrived, our pet was already comfortable in the room on a soft blanket on a large low ottoman, with 2 small couches for us to spend as much time as we needed to say goodbye. There were pet treats, tissues, a fountain and soft music. The staff explained every step in the process, and the doctor was so loving and affectionate with PJ, telling him what a good cat he was and giving him lots of pets and scratches. The process was painless and gentle, we could not have asked for anything more under the circumstances. Even a week later when picking up the cremated remains and mementos, staff were caring and compassionate about our loss. We will now always choose Cascade for our pets, the level of care and respect here is unmatched in my lifetime of owning cats.

Dr. Sara Mayes is by far the best vet I have ever had! I followed her from a different vet clinic because she was the only vet to actually help fix my dog’s problem instead of treating the symptoms with Steroids! My dog would itch until she bled, and every vet I went to all said the same thing. Fleas, food, and just dry skin from the summer. Well turns out my dog had super severe allergies to things that were very controllable and had nothing to do with food, fleas or weather! She has made my dogs life so much better! Thank you so much! I would give the clinic a 5 star, but unfortunately out of all of the clinics I’ve been to this is the only one who does not accept Trupanion insurance directly. I have to pay up front and then submit my bills to Trupanion for reimbursement. Come on Cascade get on the insurance band wagon!

We have been going here for well over a decade with all our pets. They are by far the most caring clinic I have ever been to and the Doctors and staff truly care about your pet. I would not bring my fur babies to anywhere else. The care is so phenomenal that even when we move to Oregon. For a year I would still travel to washington for their general care. Cascade is well worth the drive, the time and the care that you received for your Fur babies.
